What I Happen to Be Reading At the Moment

"A thirteen-year-old is a kaleidoscope of different personalities, if not in most ways a mere figment of her own imagination. At that age, what and who you are depends largely on what book you happen to be reading at the moment.”

While not 13 anymore, the desire to read almost anything and everything in order to read for fun and for experience is still around. I'm currently working on my PhD in a physical science, but I love to read and books are one of my non-science hobbies.

Boston Jacky: Being an Account of the Further Adventures of Jacky Faber, Taking Care of Business

Boston Jacky: Being an Account of the Further Adventures of Jacky Faber, Taking Care of Business - L.A. Meyer I mean, it's another Jacky Faber book and after L.A. Meyer died, I knew that my 10 year journey with this series was going to end. About half the time in the book I was just muttering "Dammit Jacky" under my breath--not a whole lot of new ground tread here, which is fine for fans but after a so many years I wanted to see Jacky move on somewhat and at least be a little more mature than before. Otherwise, knowing this is the penultimate book, I did start to get concerned about how the end would play out.
