What I Happen to Be Reading At the Moment

"A thirteen-year-old is a kaleidoscope of different personalities, if not in most ways a mere figment of her own imagination. At that age, what and who you are depends largely on what book you happen to be reading at the moment.”

All My Puny Sorrows

All My Puny Sorrows - Miriam Toews The first part of the novel was very strong, exploring how and why the two sisters might have grown apart and how they interact now that one specifically has wishes to end her life. The ending kind of blew it for me, but otherwise the characterizations were magnificent and the good writing did a good job of supporting the plot and characterizations.
